As many of you know, landscape photography is a huge part of my life. Whether it’s capturing the delicate details of hoar frost in the UK, exploring the woods to shoot tiny mushrooms,

or embarking on coastal adventures despite being based in the Midlands,

being out in nature with my camera is what fuels my creativity.
Unfortunately, I’ll soon be taking a break from venturing into the landscape—not by choice, but because I’m having knee surgery. Recovery means I won’t be able to get out and shoot for a while, which is incredibly frustrating for someone who thrives on being outdoors. However, rather than dwell on the time away from the field, I’m choosing to see this as an opportunity to focus on another important part of my creative process—photo editing videos.
I’d love to hear from you! Are there any specific topics, techniques, or video editing styles you're interested in? Maybe a behind-the-scenes look at my editing process, in-depth explorations of particular post-processing methods, or even reflections on past experiences?

Although I might not be able to venture into the landscape for a while, I’ll continue sharing my journey on my YouTube channel. If you have any suggestions or just want to send some encouragement, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
Thanks for being part of this creative journey with me—this might be a temporary pause in outdoor exploration, but the storytelling and inspiration will persist!
All the best with your surgery Steve, health comes first. Although fairly new to your channel, I really look forward to your videos. You’ve a great, natural way of inspiring us and I’ll look forward to more of your editing content. I’m loving the Fine Art process, I’m keen to try that. Best wishes and hope you’re back on your feet and out and about in no time.
Steve, wishing you all the best with your knee surgery and recovery. Looking forward to whatever topic you cover while you’re recuperating.
Hope all goes well. We’ll come and drag you out once your recovery is on the way
